Movement for the
Movement
What I do
I hold space for leaders, caregivers, and community members who carry the weight of justice work, chronic pain, and parenting. Together, we breathe, stretch, and remember that wellness is not a privilege—it is our birthright.
I specialize in trauma-informed yoga and meditation that honors lived experience, restores balance to the nervous system, and makes space for healing in community.
Yoga. Meditation. Facilitation.
About me
My name is Ali and I am a queer doula, facilitator, organizer, and yoga instructor with a devotion to healing justice. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in community, and that tending to the body, breath, and spirit is a form of resistance and liberation.
For over ten years, I have trained movement leaders and healthcare professionals in harm reduction, moral injury, and trauma-informed care, weaving together my lived experience with interdisciplinary practice. As the founder of a food justice nonprofit, I know firsthand the medicine of food, breath, and movement.
My offerings grow from my roots, my reverence for the earth, and my commitment to accessible, culturally grounded healing spaces.
I bring a gentle, affirming presence to my teaching, with a special focus on supporting:
Pregnant and parenting people
Elders
Movement leaders navigating burnout
My classes invite you to come home to yourself—through grounding, breath, and intentional movement.
